Pair of Large Meiji Period Blue and White Porcelain Vases

A magnificent pair of late 19th century (Meiji period 1868-1912) flared neck vases. The true pair of urns exhibit exquisite hand-painted details featuring parrots, cherry blossoms, bamboo, and arrow leaf. The molded base and neck each vase is decorated with a meandering tendril design with flowers and vines. Beautifully drawn and executed designs on a highly desirable size vessel, Japan, circa 1890.
