Regency Rosewood parcel gilt side Table

Superb early 19th century side table in rosewood.  The square top with rounded edges is supported by a fine parcel gilt fluted and reeded base resting on a tripod.  The gilt feet are magnificently executed with winged paw claw feet on polygonal pads. In the manner of Marsh and Tatham  after Henry Holland.  A table with almost identical pillar and base are recorded in the Heathcote collection at Normanton Park, Rutland, is illustrated in M. Jourdain, Regency Furniture 1795-1830, 1965 fig. 172.  Marsh and Tatham or contemporary, England c. 1810.
