A lovely side or card table of delicate detail and proportion. The frieze of the table features Gothic blind fretwork that is highlighted in 18k gold. The corners are supported by brackets with C-scrolls and lancet arches beneath which extend chinoiserie bamboo legs clustered in fours that are bound at the bottom by a molded base. The hips of the bamboo and the base are also picked out in gold. A rare form of table with exquisite detailing.
