A fine large classical club chair, black lacquered mahogany with sleigh back, spiral arms, brass decals, turned reeded front legs terminating in original castors, dramatic rear saber legs, upholstered in suede with brass tack nails.  Made by Gillows of Lancaster or contemporary.  Regency style England, c. 1820.

• Condition: Very good.  One missing brass decal on sleigh back, no rear castors.  Light soiling, bleaching of suede as shown.
