A handsome, richly colored chest on chest in Cuban mahogany. The lower case rests on bracket feet with three graduated drawers with cock beaded edges on both upper and lower cases. The commodious drawers are composed of dovetailed pine secondary wood. On the upper section, two half drawers are surmounted by a finely detailed cornice with dentils and ogee moulding. A fine, practical piece of Georgian furniture, American, circa 1785.
